The range of the Double Contrabass flute starts an octave below the Contrabass Flute. Or three octaves below the C-flute. Only a few of those instruments exist worldwide. The Double Contrabass was developed in 2023 and was first presented at the fall 2023 NFA convention and Grolloo Flute Sessions.<\/p>\n<p>A Kingma Double Contrabass flute is silver plated. The instrument is delivered with a Wiseman case and a carbon fibre tripod stand.
